GDPR Statement

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) replaces the previous 1995 data protection directive, upon which current UK law is based.

GDPR allows individuals easier access to the data that organisations hold about them and defines clear responsibilities for those organisations to obtain consent before collecting information. This should improve standards in relation to the security of your personal data.

The Buntingford Civic Society (BCS) has updated our Privacy Notice to meet the requirements of the new framework and has also implemented the required internal procedures to ensure that we are fully GDPR compliant.
