Planning

Members of the Civic Society have been at the E in P as observers and notetakers. The language of professional planners is difficult to follow with multiple acronyms and references to 'para xyz sub-section 123' but every now and then a glimpse of light when a witness describes the consequences of massive development in this area and for me that was expressed by the fear we would encircle our ancient market towns with 'soviet style workers flats' and what we should all be concerned with is planning for the'next hundred years in terms of sustainability and quality.'
