The Licensing Act 2003

The Licensing Act 2003 has been in force since November and our licensees are to be congratulated on successfully managing the change. A potential problem exists which may arise in the summer evenings when late night use of beer gardens may generate noise and disturbance for residents living close to licensed premises. We all need to be alert to this possibility and let our concerns be known to the licensees involved.
