Buntingford Civic Society AGM - April

The Buntingford Civic Society Annual General Meeting will be held in April at the Bunters Suite, Seth Ward Community Centre. Further details regarding the guest speaker and date to be advised. The AGM is open to members and non members - all are welcome.

By the time you read this journal the town will have already commemorated those that gave their lives in conflict, I hope that the service and dedication at the War Memorial was as well attended as it has been in past years.

On Friday 1st December the "Lights of Love" ceremony will be held at the Manor House, a collaboration between the Town Council and Isabel Hospice. This ceremony is a chance for us all to remember those friends and relatives that are sadly no longer with us but are always in our thoughts. The ceremony also marks the start of the Towns Christmas Celebrations with the switching on of the town Christmas Lights and the "Late Night Shopping" event, organised by the Buntingford Chamber of Commerce.

I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the Civic Society to wish all residents of Buntingford, Civic Society members and all readers of this Journal a very Merry Christmas and a Healthy and Prosperous 2024 and that you are able to spend time with family and friends over the Christmas period. As this issue of the Journal covers December and January, we will be back in February, keep safe and well
